When most people think of weddings, what comes to mind is usually basic information that’s not particularly interesting or beneficial. But there’s a lot more to weddings than just the basics.
The day following your engagement, you run to the store to pick up every bridal magazine in sight. They are filled with photos of beautiful wedding gowns, rings, and articles on weddings. Some of the magazines give you a brief idea of what you need to do to plan your wedding, but you’re still not sure how to start off the process. The key is to start organizing and planning earlier rather than later
First, you need to create your own system to keep all the details in one place. You may choose to use a binder with a tab for each category you will be using. Examples of categories include: Bakery, Ceremony, Catering, Florist, Music, Reception, Photography and Transportation. An accordion file is another choice, using the same category tables. This way you will be able to see each category at a glance.
Which system you choose is up to you, but use it consistently to keep track of all receipts, pictures, brochures, business cards etc. that is related to each category.
The information about weddings presented here will do one of two things: either it will reinforce what you know about wedding or it will teach you something new. Both are good outcomes.
Once you have your system in place, then you can begin the research. There are plenty of wedding-planning books on the market and countless online websites. Visit the bookstore or the library to pick up a book to help with the planning process. If you have friends who were recently married, ask them if they have a book you can borrow to save a few bucks.
Next, find a wedding timetable layout. This will include a list of things ‘to-do’ for the entire time (months or years) before the big day. Some of the first things on the timeline may be: consulting with fiancé and parents to decide the budget and financial support available. Another may be deciding the number of guests you want to invite to your big day, deciding what type of wedding (formal or informal), or even interview some wedding coordinators. The timetable is a basic guideline. You can recreate it on your computer to fit your wedding and time line.
Once you have an idea of all the details involved in planning a wedding, and all the time you will have to invest, then you can begin asking friends and families for help. Delegate tasks to help you check off all the ‘to-dos’ on our list by the time you arrive at your special day. It never hurts to be well-informed with the latest on wedding. Compare what you’ve learned here to future articles so that you can stay alert to changes in the area of weddings.

“Til death do us part” is still the language used in most weddings. Couples enter marriage with the hope of making a lifetime commitment. If this goal is not reached or if a spouse dies, the desire to be a couple is so ingrained that most will marry again.
The inability of the marriage laws to meet the needs of many couples makes the concept of a marital agreement quite positive, despite the bad publicity premarital agreements have reached. The freedom to structure a relationship should not be determined by laws that do not reflect the changing realities of family life in American today.
There is no firm tradition of marital contracts in our country because of the inherent resistance of comparing love to a business deal. Many civilized societies through the ages, however, have documented marital agreements with written documents.
Celebrities and the media have made couples aware of the concept of a contract executed between a married couple, whether terming it a premarital, prenuptial, antenuptial or postmarital agreement. The rich have known about them for years, but middle-class America, alarmed about the rising divorce rate, is anxious to know more.
Who Needs Them?
Anyone about to enter a marriage who is concerned about the inadequacies of the laws in the face of today’s social realities;
Anyone who is remarrying;
Anyone concerned about protecting the assets of children from a prior marriage;
Anyone who has a financially dependent parent;
Business owners, particularly of professional practices and particularly those with business partners, because a spouse effectively becomes a silent partner in the business;
Anyone with significant separate property in states where a spouse is entitled to a share of income from separate property.
Anyone whose intended spouse has significant premarital responsibilities, such as alimony, child support, or tax obligations.
Anyone cautious enough to prefer a written record of the ownership of assets to avoid confusion in the future from creditors or other family members.
It’s not romantic; it’s practical. And limiting a spouse’s take upon divorce is far from the only purpose, despite the perception gleaned from the popular press. Doesn’t it make sense to make decisions under the best of circumstances instead of during the emotional upheaval of a troubled relationship?
As with most things, there’s good news and bad news about private marital contracts. The openness needed for such an agreement is good for a relationship; the implication of a lack of trust is bad. A marital contract can avoid expensive and emotionally debilitating divorce trials, but it’s expensive to enforce any contract in court. Such an agreement will reduce to writing the agreement for division of property upon divorce, although it can prevent a spouse from obtaining marital rights upon divorce.

While writing a solid business plan is a necessary first step in getting any new business venture off the ground, creating such a business plan is not always an easy task.
The goal of the many business plan software packages on the market is to make the process of creating a winning business plan that much easier.
When choosing from among the many business plan software titles on the market, it is important to know what to look for, and to know what you need from the business plan software you plan to purchase.
These software packages can be quiet pricey, so it is important to shop around for the business plan software package that gives you the greatest bang for your limited business dollars.
Making Sure The Business Plan Software Includes Sample, Examples And Templates
One important thing to look for when shopping for business plan software is the availability of a number of different business plan samples, examples and templates.
These examples and templates can make it a lot easier to create a quality business plan in a short period of time.
Look For A Flexible And Easy To Use Software Package
It is also important that the business plan software package you choose be easily customized to meet the needs of your own type of business.
Each industry has its own unique needs when it comes to business plans, and it is important for the business plan software to be flexible enough to allow changes to be easily made depending on the type of business.
Those business owners with more than one type of business will especially appreciate a business plan software package that is flexible and easy to use.
The Business Plan Software Should Easily Interface With Other Accounting Software Programs
It is also a good idea to look for a business plan software package that easily interfaces with the most popular accounting software, business software and general productivity software available.
It will be a big help to have the business plan software be able to pull in facts and figures from a variety of spreadsheets, accounting packages and other sources.
A business plan software that can use information from a variety of existing sources can greatly reduce the workload on an already overloaded business owner.

Landlords and rehabbers take notice - you may soon be focused on the new concepts of “Virtual Real Estate Investing“. Everything from using the internet as an avenue to make more money in real estate to online games such as SecondLife seem to be included in the popular definition of this term.
To find out the real story, I had a conversation with Bryan Ellis, widely considered to be one of the originators of the concept of Virtual Real Estate Investing.
“I began using the term ‘virtual real estate investing’ in the late 1990’s when I realized the clear similiarities in profit strategies, regardless of whether the “real estate” is “virtual” or “physical” said Ellis.
Bryan Ellis cites the similar strategies one can employe to make money from “virtual property” and “physical property” as a primary parallel of the two markets. “There’s a huge difference between a website and a piece of real estate, but the ways you can profit from them are similar: ‘flipping’, rental/leasing, advertising sales, etc…all of these apply to both markets” he states.
The parallels really are obvious. For example, if you’re the owner of a desirable property, its desirability is (in a business context) largely due to its being in a location that is of interest to others. Likewise, if you own a desirable domain name, others will find value in it because it serves their purposes. In either case, you could sell or lease the asset and turn it into cash.
In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.

I don’t know a thing about you, but I’ll bet that your cheating wife is causing you more pain and stress than you’d care to admit. But let me ask you; instead of immediately making accusations and placing blame, did you ever stop and ask yourself “where did I go wrong?”
If you haven’t…don’t worry, most men NEVER DO. What I want you to do for a moment is shift your thoughts away from all the information out there telling you to focus on “EXPOSING your cheating wife”….and shift your thinking to the following statement…
“Women DON’T LEAVE great guys.”
It’s true. Why on Earth would your wife fall into the arms of another man when she has a caring, compassionate and sensitive man at home?
So again…I want you to ask yourself…”Where did I go wrong?”
I know you may be filled with anger and resentment thinking…”who does this guy think he is blaming ME for all this, it’s my WIFE who has been unfaithful…NOT ME!”
I want to make it clear that I am NOT placing blame on YOU…and I am NOT placing blame on YOUR WIFE either.
I need you to put your feelings aside for a moment and think about this logically….
The only reason you’re faced with a cheating wife right now is because your wife has a set of needs that you were not able to fulfill. But that’s okay because SHE did not communicate them to you in the first place…so you had no way of knowing what you were doing wrong! Have you ever noticed the language of most “infidelity experts” out there on the internet centers on one theme: “catch, prove, divorce”. Their premise is simple….
Your wife’s “crime” is unforgivable and her punishment will give you a sense of relief.
These “experts” make you believe that you’ll feel righteous after catching your cheating wife because SHE’S the villain and YOU’RE the good guy.
But after all the “dust settles” and everything is out in the open…reality starts to set in.
Your cheating wife has left you with not one, but TWO possible roads you can take.
The first road of “exposing your cheating wife” leads to confrontation, argument and most often…divorce. If you choose to get a divorce without knowing the REAL REASON your wife cheated on you in the first place, you’d just be glossing over the problem…instead of fixing it and preventing it from happening again in the future.
And before you decide to take this road to any degree, you must first consider the REAL COST of choosing this road.
Confronting your cheating wife will most likely bring on a higher level of stress for you because you’ll come to find out that there’s a BIG difference between SUSPECTING your wife is cheating and actually finding SOLID PROOF that she’s been unfaithful.
Finding ACTUAL evidence of an affair is NEVER easy, despite what the authors say.
But here’s the big question…
Will your wife become more cooperative and interested in you if you blame and confront her (especially when she knows she’s wrong), OR if you understand why she feels the way she does?
The answer is obvious.
Confronting your cheating wife will only bring on divorce and destroy the lives of your children. But the question is; can you stomach the proof?
The other road you can take is to draw your cheating wife back into your arms instead of throwing away what the two of you have invested in over the years.
You may be thinking you don’t stand a chance to win over your cheating wife from the other man. She may have told you that she’s “in love” with the other man because HE gives her what YOU never have.
If you want to find out how to ‘divorce proof’ your marriage and become the man she’ll NEVER want to leave, read the FREE Special Report titled The Secret Path to Divorce.
What you’ll learn will do MUCH more for you than learning how to become a great “spy”.
Instead, it will help you realize that WOMEN DON’T LEAVE GREAT GUYS.

As technology becomes more and more sophisticated, virtually every type of electronic device becomes even more miniaturized. This is especially true of the spy technology that is available on the market today. As the various types of spy equipment that is used to listen, record and photograph have gotten phenomenally smaller, so have the devices that are used to detect them.
There are now hand held versions of several different types of bug detectors. One such unit can perform a multifunctional sweep of the environment and works just like the larger units do; only now they have more functions as well as offering the convenience of portability. Other hand held devices can detect even the smallest hard wired video camera.
If you’re worried about someone listening to or recording your conversation by wearing a hidden, miniaturized listening device upon their person, you’ve got the perfect countermeasure. There are compact sized RF detectors that are so small, you can conceal them upon your person, allowing you to perform a complete sweep for wireless listening devices without anyone knowing you’re even doing it. You can completely eliminate the worry of saying something you don’t want recorded or heard by others when you know whether or not your conversation is truly private.
Other types of portable, hand held devices could be used to locate wireless cameras as well as microphones. If you don’t want a video and audio record of something you are about to divulge, you can rest assured that you are in the clear with one of these handy, portable devices.

What kind of lover you are? Do you care for your beloved? Or you are more concerned about what you get in love? Those who care in love always win at the end. Because their care shows in their character and they feel good that they care about someone.
Unless your love is not a synonym for physical relation, your love must transcend ordinary relationships. Let me give you an example. A mother’s relation with her children is beyond and different from every other relationship. Similarly, if you truly love, you will care, because to love means to care. What about you? Are you a caring lover?
Let me ask you a simple question. Your darling has not bothered to call you for few days. What kind of ideas do you get? Your answer to this question will tell you a lot about your love. Do you suspect that he/she might have fallen in love with somebody else/ or that they are not bothered about you? Or that there may be something wrong, otherwise it is impossible that your lover will not call. Unless your answer is the last one, you need to rethink about your relationship and you may not call it as love.
To love means to give. Love demands that you keep your beloved happy. You forgive them for major blunders. You be with them through everything. Love means to become one with your sweetheart. Unless that happens, it is not love, but a pretense of love. If you love, you must care.

Divorce usually happens because individuals exhibit relationship habits that are destructive to their partner, to the relationship and therefore to themselves.
Such habits include some of the following:
1. Being too needy.
2. Being too controlling.
3. Being too dependent.
4. Being too passive.
5. Being too aggressive.
6. Needing too much attention.
7. Being too afraid to make your own decisions.
8. Being unable to say no when it’s required.
9. Having extra marital affairs.
10. Attracting the wrong kind of partner.
11. Being attracted to the wrong kind of partner.
12. Trying to rescue your partner.
13. Needing validation from your partner.
14. Not being discerning about your choice in partner.
15. Using sex as a way of choosing your partner.
16. Being unable to be honest and open and so on.
If you’re one of those individuals who have experienced a series of failed relationships you’ll likely recognize some of these habits in your repertoire.
It’s interesting how they keep repeating themselves only to be discovered after the fact or not at all.
Where do they come from, why are they inside you and what can you do to get rid of them once and for all?
Well believe it or not they became conditioned or imprinted inside you as a result of your early life experience. They are stored deep in the mind/body as relational habits that most therapies are challenged to unearth.
The reason they continue to remain inside you is because they have come to form what you call your personality. Most therapists believe that personality characteristics are difficult if not impossible to change.
Well with that kind of belief where does that leave you other than stuck with what you’ve got?
Well there is a way to become permanently free of this conditioning.
The conditioning is anchored inside you by deep beliefs that you hold unconsciously. A new modality called the Mind Resonance Process(TM) (MRP) has the ability to quickly and easily release these beliefs so that you can then release the offending habit.
When this happens you are left feeling free, unstuck, more aware of all the decisions that you make and with the ability to be in charge of your behavioral choices in ways that you never thought possible before.
This means that you will essentially be growing into a capable and mature adult who is ready for a healthy relationship that will be resilient and fulfilling.

You’ve been asked to speak for an audience. However, the event organizer or meeting planner tells you they can’t pay you. Your heart sinks knowing that speaking for free will cost you in the long run. You think of all the expenses you’ll incur - gas, parking, photocopying materials, babysitter - and speaking for free means you won’t be reimbursed for these incidental costs.
Although a free gig can eat into your bottom line, you don’t need to refuse it altogether. If you’re still building your expertise, free gigs can help you to refine your message and try out new concepts on an eager audience.
The only way you can make money if you’re speaking for free, is to sell something. You just have to. Otherwise, known as back of the room (BOR) sales, here are some tips for ensuring that you rake in the cash even if you’re speaking for free.
- Develop an information product that relates to your speech. You can sell a special report, a CD or a booklet that contains detailed information from your speech. For example, I do a speech called 7 Brainless Networking Techniques to Avoid. After my speech, I encourage attendees to buy my ebook on CD called Schmooze Your Way to Success for further reading and research. Even if you don’t have an ebook or physical book to sell, there are ton of information products you can develop. Here are some ideas:
- Photocopies of a 10-page special report
- An audio CD containing a teleclass you led
- A data CD containing a collection of reports, articles or an ebook
- A booklet with dozens of tips
- A DVD with a training session you did for another group
- Sell something that people can take away with them. People want to buy something that they can hold in their hands and walk out the door with. Coaching sessions, digital downloads and other intangible products may be a tougher sell since people can’t hold or touch it. Opt to sell a CD, a booklet or a book instead.
- Ensure that your product is inexpensively priced. If it’s too expensive, attendees won’t buy. If it’s too cheap, attendees will ignore it. Anything priced between $10 to $20 is appropriate for BOR sales.
- Accepting credit cards is a must. People are impulse buyers, especially at special events. If there’s a rush to the table to buy your product and you only accept cash, you will miss out on potential business. At least 45% of my BOR sales are through credit cards.
Many credit card processing companies can set you up with a telephone call-in service within 2-weeks. You collect the credit card number at the event, then you call-in later from your home or cell phone to authorize it. Simple as pie.
- Mention your product at the end of your speech. Never, ever, mention your product throughout your presentation. This will turn people off. It’s tasteless to introduce a concept in your speech, and then say, “You can find a more detailed, step-by-step process in my ebook.” Instead, graciously give attendees 45-minutes worth of useful information, then at the very end, after the Q&A, pitch a 2-minute commercial for your product.
- Try to videotape or audiotape your presentation. You always want to improve on your speech and being able to review it later is always helpful. Hire a videographer to tape your presentation. If you can’t find one, record your presentation using an audio recording device. Capturing a recording of your speech will do 2 things:
- You can evaluate the audience’s reaction to your sales pitch. If sales were low, you can tweak it. Or, if sales were high, you can duplicate what you said word for word at other speaking engagements.
- If your speech was amazing, you can package the video or audio and sell it at your next speaking engagement. Imagine how grateful your audience will feel knowing they don’t have to take notes because they can purchase your presentation and review it at their leisure.
- Remember to ask if you can make sales. Before saying yes to a free gig, always get the permission from the meeting planner or event organizer for BOR sales. Most times, they will say yes to your request. In the odd event that they say no, tell them you’ll donate a portion of sales to their group. This should win them over. If the meeting planner or event organizer still refuses your request for BOR sales, you may want to rethink doing a free gig for them.
Free speaking engagements can cost you big, but not if you incorporate BOR sales into your strategy. Follow the tips above and you’ll gleefully say yes to a free gig knowing that you’ll be able to cover your costs with the product sales you’ll make at the event.
