With such a big market the number of knicker and bra brands who are using pop star endorsements have seen growth. The most current celebs to put their face and bodies to female lingerie brands include Melanie B from pop group sensations the Spice Girls, Jordan aka Katie Price and footballer wife Louise Redknapp.
The Spice Girl, Mel B signed a year long contract with underwear brand Ultimo for a huge half a million pounds. The beautiful Melanie B has been working out in the gym to show off her six pack in the press photographs for the new range of ultimo bras. Melanie follows in other pop star footsteps. Another famous singer that modeled for a lingerie firm is the beautiful Louise RedKnapp, she modeled for Triumph. The boost in lingerie sales for the underwear brands using female celebrities to endorse their products have worked.
A celeb endorsement will work well when the underwear company teams itself up with a celebrity who has the same beliefs and values and is a good match to the product and the bra brands target customers.
