Broadband is ultra fast speed internet access, & is notably faster than slow dial-up access over a modem. If you yourself are browsing this net guide then you are seemingly thinking at purchasing worldwide web access for the 1 st time, or seeking to increase your internet speed to broadband. Use www.comparebroadbanduk.com to help save you money on your broadband bill.
The main perk of fast broadband is people are able to watch movies over the internet, this has became really popular with Channel 4 launching their new website which will allow surfers to watch the latest shows of Desperate Housewives. With high speed broadband users can often also get dance music & horror movies at a much better speed than modem access.
High speed broadband is painless to connect. The first task users will need to do is register with an ISP, of course known as an Internet Service Provider, & the corporation will supply people with a connection via your home connection. If users already have a broadband provider then please make sure surfers try a broadband comparison web site for unprejudiced advice on the most inexpensive high speed broadband offers. Users may quickly note the cheapest deals with an internet provider comparison website by simply entering in your town and then the service will give a list of operator packages in your postcode. You yourself will be under no contract to register with any high speed internet provider while people look through the provider deals.
Once surfers have signed up with your Internet Service Provider the broadband organisation will probably arrange a time period for turning on the connection & supply surfers with any required hardware & connection software. The wireless routers & connection software may come with step by step guides and the majority of broadband corporations will probably offer users IT advice if needed.
Once users have successfully connected to the internet surfers should start to adore the super fast speeds of high speed broadband. If you are going to download music, telly programmes such as Superman the Series or romantic movies please be wary of any download allocations that you may have on your high speed internet package. Music and television downloads such as Golden Girls might often take up most of your ‘download allocation’ as the internet corporation are huge in file size.

Chair Yoga has become more popular in senior centers, but can also be found in nursing homes, physical rehabilitation units, adult day care centers, and some Yoga studios. However, the vast majority of us will attend a Chair Yoga class in a senior center.
You should consult your family physician and get the “go ahead,” before starting any exercise program. If possible, visit, or call the senior center, to find out about their policies and general guidelines. When it is your first class, it is a good idea to get into the front row, so you can clearly see and hear your Yoga teacher.
When you need extra advice, or have a particular health condition, you should talk to your teacher before, or after, the class. Your Yoga teacher will give advice and show modifications, throughout the class, but when you have questions that concern your safety and health, you should ask right away. This is not something that should be put on the “back burner.”
Within the senior center staff structure, there are volunteers, paid staff, and management. They are all extremely helpful. Seek help and you will find an abundance of it. If the business world ran like this, we would all be happy customers.
You don’t have to bring any special equipment to a Chair Yoga class. Most senior centers have more than enough chairs to accommodate everyone. Some Chair Yoga classes do use mats, as well as chairs, but this is more the exception than the rule. If the center uses mats, in part of the class, you will have to take your shoes off.
Most senior centers have hard floors with tile over cement. In this case, you should wear good sneakers, tennis shoes, or aerobic shoes. This will allow your shoes to grip the floor, to prevent potential slipping accidents. It also gives your feet and joints some cushion from the hard surface.
There is no need to buy special clothes. You should wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement. Don’t wear anything tight around the waist. This will bother your stomach during some of the bending or twisting movements.
You should never push or strain into a Yoga posture. This can cause a variety of injuries from very slight to serious. Therefore, stay in the “comfort zone.” No one really knows how your body feels, except you.
If the class is large, it will be held in a large room, like a dining hall. Expect some distractions, with people coming, and going, from different activities, within the senior center. This is not ideal for meditation, but the physical rewards, and new friends you gain, will make up for it.

He was pencil thin and walked with a limp. A thirteen year-old boy
with huge yearning eyes who was always an unlucky patient on the
children’s floor of the hospital where my youngest daughter was all
too often incarcerated.
Curtis had sickle cell anemia, an incurable, painful and terminal
disease that plagues young people of African descent.
I would meander into his room to spend a little time with the
rebellious loner and would often end up refereeing a screaming
match between him and one of the nurses. The street-wise Curtis
would usually win.
Over the course of a few years (the hospital was always my home-
away-from-home), I eventually learned of the horror of his
upbringing, the sad reality of his current life and the apparent
dimness of his future.
My experience as a volunteer in the Big Brother-like program in our
local Children’s Aid Society was that a small dose of interest and
some one-on-one attention could go a long way to helping a kid
who was in trouble with the law, failing school and in Curtis’ case, a
social outcast.
So, when my time was over with the last boy I was involved with, I
asked the CAS if I could hook up with Curtis, albeit ‘unofficially’ this
time. Problem was, I was in the process of selling my drycleaning
business while building a music production studio (for my next
career) and my time was too much at a premium to commit to a
structured arrangement. They agreed, and I began to hang with
Curtis.
I learned in very short order that among his survival skills was the
tendency to cajole, cleverly manipulate and even outright steal.
Although always kind, I had to have a second set of eyes when in
his presence and was forced at times to be, well, curt with Curt.
Also during this time, I was involved in a major lawsuit after having
had a song of mine “lifted” by a one-time friend and co-writing
partner in Los Angeles, who had become a ‘hot’ producer of major
recording acts. On one of his multi-million selling records was the
core of a song of mine he had heard and we discussed in my
presence during one of my frequent music trips in the 1980’s. I was
a little more than hurt and felt I deserved not only the royalties for
my creation, but also the credibility that went along with a “cut” of
that magnitude by a name recording artist.
I retained a highly regarded entertainment attorney in Detroit (he
represented many of the athletes on the professional sports teams
in Detroit as well as one of the all time greatest boxers and even
some famous civil rights icons) who just happened to also be a
truly wonderful and giving human being.
It was in a meeting with this man that I casually mentioned Curtis
and my desire to do something very special for him. See, in my
heart, I had a feeling Curtis would not live for too many more years.
Sickle cell sufferers often died in their early twenties, or even
before, a decade ago. I wasn’t expecting anything from my lawyer
in this regard, but the next day the phone rang and I was instructed
to have Curtis “dressed up” and at the Palace of Auburn Hills at a
specific gate number one hour prior to a Detroit Pistons game later
that week.
He was a huge basketball fan. His hero of heroes was Isaiah
Thomas, captain of the Motor City NBA Champs the prior two
years. But I didn’t let on to Curtis where we were going that night.
Just that we were hanging out. I just asked his foster mother (and I
use the term “mother” very lightly) to have him dressed nicely with
his birth certificate in hand by a certain time.
Curtis was on time, eagerly waiting on his rickety porch when I
pulled up. But to my utter dismay, he looked as disheveled as he
always did in his overbaggy, tattered clothes. And of course, good
ol’ foster mom couldn’t find his birth certificate. Now, can you
imagine the fancy dancin’ I had to do at U.S. Customs having this
‘gang looking’ teenager with no identification trying to cross the
border in my new BMW? Well, fate and some silver tongued talkin’
prevailed and we were soon racing up I-75 to The Game.
I tried to make idle conversation with the excited but slouching
teenager. All Curtis could do was hound me. “Is it a ballgame? Is it
a concert?” “Rick, where are we going?” I love to tease. Finally, he
glimpsed the landmark dome of the arena from the freeway and
knew he was going to get to see his favorite team play.
We found the specified gate, parked and walked to the entrance.
Walking with Curtis was always a little frustrating for me (he would
do the ’slow, cool stroll’ and I am a brisk walker) but this time I
knew there was something special awaiting that we should almost
race to.
We were met by a well-dressed, executive-looking middle-aged
man, who just happened to be the Vice-President of Public
Relations for the Detroit Pistons. Talk about first class! He escorted
Curtis not to his seat, but directly to the Pistons bench, where
Curtis’ eyes grew almost as big as the basketballs the giant
athletes had just started tossing around in their pre-game warm-up.
I was led to our primest of seats directly behind the bench. A
waitress visited only seconds after that, taking my order for
refreshments. Everything was “on the house”. I saw one of the
assistant coaches introduce himself to Curtis, and next thing I
know, well, guess who’s center court tossing the ball around with
his hero, Isaiah? Soon, he was running the court and shooting
hoops with Bill Laimbeer, Dennis Rodman, Joe Dumars and the
rest of the elite players!
At this point, I couldn’t even imagine the exhilaration that this young
man who life never seemed to smile upon was experiencing at this
very moment! I mean, how could anyone’s wildest imagination even
envision this ravaged spirit and body trying to “deek the Bad Boys
of basketball?” I just sat quietly in utter amazement, misty eyed
and SO grateful to my legal friend and the ‘human’ management of
this professional sports team who arranged all of this for one
person. A Canadian kid who was close to my heart
When the warm-up was done, Curtis climbed up with me. The first
half of the game was great. The Pistons were pounding their
opponents. A few of the players even glanced back and motioned at
their new teammate! By the time the half-time buzzer sounded I
was certain Curtis’ dream day was complete.
But hold on, this was only half time! The same assistant coach who
invited Curtis onto the hardwood floor pre-game, called for him to
hang with the team in the sanctuary of the dressing room during
their much-needed break. Give ME a break!
I’ll never forget what I think was the widest smile I have ever seen as
the team emerged onto the floor afterwards and my little guy ‘cool
strolling’ as proudly as I’ve ever seen anyone. And much quicker
than I ever recalled. What a night!!
The ride home was quiet. Opposite of the ride there. Curtis slept
most of long way home. I could only imagine his dreams. Canada
Customs was kind and allowed him to sleep through their few brief
questions for me. It was sad to see him sleepily stagger up the
sidewalk to his stark reality, after having just left a world where I’d
bet no one would believe he had been.
Somehow I thought I would receive a phonecall from Curtis the next
day. But it never came. Two days later I had a very good reason to
call him. My attorney and the team had arranged to have every
player on the NBA Champion Detroit Pistons sign the game ball
from that night, and Federal Express it to my home address, to give
to Curtis. An autographed yearbook was included too.
I couldn’t wait to tell him. I mean, I was flabbergasted at this
unexpected and over-the-top gesture! I recall excitedly dialing his
number and the deflation after hearing that “Curtis took off to
Toronto yesterday.” She went on to explain that she didn’t know
where he was or how to contact him. And neither did the Children’s
Aid Society.
Little did I know that evening would be the last time I would ever see
Curtis. My instincts tell me that he is not with us anymore. But if
he is, he has one great gift still waiting for him - The Ungiven Gift.

Is remembering names a challenge for you? It sure is for me. Sometimes I feel incredible embarrassment when I have forgotten the name of a person who was introduced to me 30 seconds ago. If you suffer from “can’t remember names syndrome,” consider the following tips.
1. Give your full attention to the introduction. Don’t get caught shaking the hand of a new acquaintance with one eye on someone else in the room. Give the person you’re meeting your full attention. Make the person feel important by making the introduction important to you.
2. Listen carefully and repeat the name immediately and then a time or two more in the first 60 seconds following the introduction. Verbal repetition helps reinforce a new name in your memory, and gives you the opportunity to rehearse or double-check difficult pronunciations.
3. Think of someone with the same name: A relative, friend, coworker, etc. Associate this person with your new acquaintance.
4. Form an immediate association with the name and the person’s outstanding feature or trait. Whether it’s flattering or not, the first association you make with a person is the best tool you can use for remembering the name. Hair color, tone of voice, style of clothing or even height are all effective associations.
5. As the conversation continues, continue to occasionally use the person’s name. This will test your memory and establish closer ties with an individual. “I couldn’t agree with you more, Joe,” or “You know, Sue, I heard a funny story about that” are both examples of individualized conversation that sounds friendly and not forced.
6. If you forget a name or didn’t hear it the first time, don’t fake it…ask by saying something like, “I’m sorry, but please tell me your name again.” Most people would prefer to repeat their names rather than correct a wrong guess. Politely asking for a reminder may be awkward, but it will be appreciated. If the name is particularly difficult to retain or pronounce, ask for a spelling.
7. Don’t make excuses. No one wants to hear “I’m terrible with names” or “I meet so many people in a day.” Excuses like these can make even the most important person feel insignificant in your eyes.
8. If you’re speaking to someone new over the telephone, jot down the name on a piece of paper to make sure you don’t forget the name.
9. When your conversation ends, whether on the telephone or in person, also make a note of the person’s name and organization and jot down enough information about the individual to jog your memory later when you get back to your office or to your home.
Full attention during new introductions is the key to keeping names from slipping your mind. Take the time to fully focus on anyone you’re about to meet. The time to recognize an important contact is before you forget the name, not afterwards!

Test your bet interaction sports skills - Try our online gaming rooms!
Bind together the two of man’s chief leisure actvities and what you’ll get is a mania we generally know as a sportsbook betting location. Well, what could be more creative? Fancy a knot of fans cheering their preferred local sports club, and always bets are announced right along with the commotion. In order to get a share of the delights, spectators will usually essay to divine who is the likeliest to prevail in the impending struggle. At the end of the day, this boils down to a friendly bantering struggle termed sportsbook betting location.
In order to place any wager, you’ll likely want to call on a sportsbook betting location, that’s to say a place which accepts sportsbook betting location. In the US, there are no less than four states where everyone can go for sports wagering legitimately, but beyond legality you may do it practically anywhere provided that you determine a bookie and happen to be of legal age. Amongst the track-and-field events you have a choice of betting on are pro in parallel to college basketball + college class football, pro baseball, pro hockey, in parallel to dog and horse racing. You’ll be able to wager on the entire tally of a contest or game, when a given contestant will go under, and even whether a given tossed coin in a contest or game comes down either heads or tails.
One can opt for numerous systems of stakes– parlays, straight bets, where you merely select the club which you think is most likely to win or be defeated, over/unders, teasers, which are related to to parlays, with the difference that you will add or, if you prefer, subtract points from the spread to enhance your stakes, and others, the straight being the most typical in sports wagering.
Why not just have a bash at it and have lots of fun in the process? Just take pains to ensure that you won’t get too enthused and waste your total retirement fund on a quirk! If not, it’s likely you’ll find yourself feeling sorry for yourself all life long!

There is a secondary school not far from our home, and I often see the students either walking to school or waiting at the bus stop. Over 1500 students attend this school, and yet when I see them there is a similarity that identifies them as belonging to that school. After some thought I realized that it is their appearance that is similar. Although there is no school uniform, it is their choice of clothes that almost creates a uniform in itself. The colours of choice tend to be limited to three colours none of which stand out or appear distinct. Almost all students carry a backpack. It is rare to see a student who stands out by wearing brighter colours or a different style of clothes.
This is a well known example of the power of peer pressure, such an influential force in the lives of children growing up. Ironically the teen age years are the period of time when children are trying to find out who they are, how their identity is unique from family members and role models of their previous childhood years. The ridicule and even persecution of fellow students at school causes all but the secure and bold of heart to conform or be ostracized at school.
There are many forms of conformity out in the big wide world; subtle expectations and pressures that create environments and communities which conform to ‘acceptable patterns of appearance and behaviour.
However success and notoriety come to those who stand out from the rest by their creativity, uniqueness and ability to stand out from the crowd.
A recent example of this is twenty one year old Alex Twe from England. In August this year Alex was about to start university. Being only too aware of the fact that many students end up finishing their education with huge debts to repay, he decided to try and generate sufficient funds to cover his expenses whilst studying using the power of the Internet. He created ‘The Million Dollar Home Page’. The basic concept was that website owners could buy advertising space on the home page of the site at a cost of $1 per pixel. The smallest advertising block you can purchase is 10×10 pixels, hence a cost of $100. There are a million pixels available for purchase, thus if Alex succeeds in selling them all, he will have raised a cool $1million!
On the face of it, this is a crazy idea - why would anyone want to pay to put a tiny graphic on a page of thousands of other tiny graphics on the off-chance that someone might click on it? I’m sure if he had taken advice from Internet experts he would have been strongly advised not to bother even to attempt such a ludicrous notion as would not have a hope of succeeding.
Alex launched the site at the end of August and right away started to try and generate press interest. This approach worked superbly and he has had International press coverage over the past couple of months which has helped to spread the word about his site in the viral manner that is only possible via the Internet. Result? After a very short time Alex had sold over half a million pixels - that means he has generated over $500,000 in income in just 2 months! At this rate he will achieve his target of selling a million pixels by the end of the year and even if he doesn’t sell another pixel, he has still done superbly well. To read the blog of Alex’s adventure and see the site visit his website http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com This week he is visiting the U.S.A. on a media tour. Within weeks of this site being launched and seeing success, there were over 400 copycats trying to make a quick fortune by copying a unique idea.
What does it take to be different, to stand out from the crowd, become influential and experience success? What qualities make innovative leaders rather than followers?
Here are some of my thoughts;
Courage to follow your heart and intuition
Security and self confidence to stand by what you believe
Not concerned to gain the approval of others
Creativity
Willingness to be the first and take a risk
Determination to follow through on your ideas
What do you think?

Each and every day that you wake up if you could decide how you wanted to feel what would that be?
Well after some thought I’m sure that you would come up with some or all of the following: at peace, calm, happy, contented, joyful, free, relaxed, healthy, light, care free, playful, grounded, present, energized, enthusiasic about life, hopeful, optimistic, in the moment, creative, fulfilled and so on.
Is this how you feel most or all of the time? If so then I congratualte you on your committment to preserve and honor your deeply held desire for a life that truly nurtures you.
If not, I ask you to contemplate the impediments that block you from feeling the way you want. Isn’t such contempaltion worth some of your time? After all isn’t your desire for a joyful and peaceful life the reason that you spend most of your life energy each day trying to achieve it?
So all I’m asking you to do is stop and reconsider your strategy from a fresh perspective, that’s all.
What are those impediments? Well you might say that it has to do with the fact that your reality is not co-operating with you and your needs. Well that may be true but why is that?
Well again you might retort that “I have no control over what my reality dishes out to me.”
If that is the case then what you are saying is that you live, or as I might put it, are “choosing” to live in a reality that is unsupportive and hostile to you.
You might argue the point about it being “a choice” in which case you would only be trying to justify your role as a victim in it. Does that feel in anyway empowering to you? Highly unlikely.
Did you know that your so-called reality is largely a construct of the beliefs that you carry within you about it? In other words you carry the “template” for your “reality” right inside your mind/body.
What’s more this template is accesible and easily changed. By doing so you change the very nature of the “external” reality that you live in. So in this light this makes you the “creator” of your “external” percieved and experienced reality.
So my question to you now is this: “How useful is to you to remain in denial about your role as the creator of your reality?”
Well you might say that you are not in denial, rather that this is untrue. Well I might say that that is what I call “denial”!
Let me show you what I mean.
Some might argue that the usefulness of thinking that one is not the creator of one’s own reality is:
1. So that you don’t have to take responsibility for what happens to you, so that,
2. You can remain blameless, so that,
3. You can breath a sigh of relief, be and feel in the clear, feel calm and relaxed, feel immune and resilient, so that,
4. You can feel happy, content, peaceful, joyful and stress free.
So in summary what is being said is that:
(A) The belief that one is not the creator of one’s reality makes one feel happy, content, peaceful, joyful and stress free.
Now if that were true then you wouldn’t need to expend all of your life energy each and every day attempting to create this kind of experience would you?
So clearly (A) is false!
If you see that then please just admit that to yourself right now.
Then notice how you feel.
You might now feel more aware of the role you play with each and every thought in the creation of your reality.
If you would like expand this awareness so that you can freely create the reality that you wish to live in then kindly visit the web link below for more support.

Since the days of dowries and courtship have dwindled, women have been searching for romance in the unlikeliest of places: scotch-smeared bar counters, stopwatch-driven speed dating events, and even within the confines of the instant-messaging mousetrap. Many attest to the fact that these methods seldom seem to deliver soul mates, and long for an effective, tangible way to eliminate the modern machinery of dating and discover their perfect matches.
Inspirational speaker and author Zannah Hackett, Rev, BAE, MA, teaches today’s women that what they really need is an operating manual!
I discovered Zannah’s seminars after reading about her success in a local newspaper. Intrigued by the possibility of being able to objectively identify on-sight a man who rocks my world, I invited a lovelorn girlfriend visiting from out of town to accompany me on my journey to unearth what proved to be knowledge more valuable than any I gleaned from my door-opening alumnus: while we’ve been taught since birth not to judge a book by its cover, Zannah teaches that the road to romance is paved by doing exactly that.
The Ancient Wisdom of Matchmaking, a book describing a 3000 year old body of knowledge referred to as the Knowledge of Y.O.U. (Your Own Understanding), subscribes to the notion that all of us arrive on this earth in our own vehicles, which are as easily identifiable as the different types of cars we drive (i.e. Toyota, BMW, Mercedes). The mastery of this language, which predates both astrology and the bible, allows quick, easy identification of one’s “perfect” mate based on obvious characteristics such as height, body type, hair and eye color, and skin tone. Given the ability to objectively recognize who’s got what you need on sight, you can spend far more time cultivating a thriving, emergent relationship and waste far less time weeding the poison ivy from your rose garden.
What, one might ask, is the difference between this knowledge and the hundreds of popular profiling mechanisms that so many people use to fill an otherwise-empty Saturday night? Well, it is the difference between placing a tiger in a cage with a rat, a lizard with a cow and assuming it makes sense because they’re all animals, or worse yet placing a tiger in a cage full of other tigers, simply because they’re biologically compatible. Rather than operating as a subjective, homogenized program that attempts to project society’s interpretation of “perfection” on wistful wanderers, the Knowledge of Y.O.U. empowers you to be your own expert on what rocks your world, thereby handing you the prescription for happiness- all you have to do is fill it, and ladies and gentlemen, Dr. Zannah is in!
The Knowledge of Y.O.U. is one of history’s most well-guarded secrets, previously used chiefly by tyrants and dictators as a means of manipulating their followers. It is also the body of knowledge used by resourceful charlatans who claim to be legitimate psychics or fortune tellers professing the ability to distinguish peoples’ characteristics merely by looking at them. Don’t be fooled- you can do the same, and there isn’t anything mystical about it. Prehistoric man had only obvious visual clues to enlist while evaluating his basic needs, such as safety and survival; he had no language or propaganda to assist him in passing judgments about those around him. The Knowledge of Y.O.U. returns us to a time when there was only one universal language, accepted and understood by every human walking the earth~ a time before our cultural de-evolution produced mass confusion about ancient universal law.
In the midst of modernity’s wiser world, this information is of great value, not only to single people, but to therapists, life coaches, business owners, personal trainers, dating specialists, family and marriage counselors, and managers. In this society of people who habitually judge others based on their own designs, there exists endless possibility for growth and productivity by merely learning to “see” others for who they are without expecting them to change. Everyone walking the earth, from preschool teachers to dogcatchers to corporate executives, is aware of the simple fact that lions roar and cats meow. They also know that cheetahs are swift and turtles are slow. They probably even know that wolves hunt in packs and cougars hunt alone.
So, in the human world, why do we expect cats to roar, turtles to sprint, and cougars to organize expeditions?
One might ask, how in the world can we learn to “see” what’s in front of us without a crystal ball? The answer is body typing. Body typing is the most revealing of five aspects used in the once highly revered process of matchmaking. In Hackett’s teachings, it is referred to as “personal style.” This very fundamental understanding of others is based on seven distinct styles that identify both men and women, and is the most essential in identifying the ultimate partner. It tells us in very objective terms what kind of beings we are dealing with on sight. If you were to look at a large, sturdy tree in a park, you may be able to tell at first glance that it is an oak tree as opposed to a smaller, frailer willow tree. If you were to look at an automobile in a parking lot, you may have enough information at first glance to know that you are looking at a Mustang versus a Corvette. People are no different. They are as easily distinguishable as types of trees, cars, and animals.
Zannah Hackett, whose teachings supports those of the Dr. Phil’s and Florence Littauer’s, offers the tools necessary to function at your absolute optimal level in life; you’ll know what you need in order to be happy, and you’ll know what your partner needs in order to be happy. You’ll know where you’ll thrive, and where you’ll dive. Most importantly, you’ll learn to accept others at face value, as the knowledge insists that you love yourself and those in your life, be they family, friends, co-workers, love interests, or even enemies, for being exactly who they’re supposed to be. Zannah’s new book, The Ancient Wisdom of Matchmaking., will be released in August this year, but the E-book is available now at www.pauseformagic.com. You can also find information about Zannah’s upcoming seminars, private sessions, book signings, and lectures on the website.
